Mother’s Day Award Ceremony

The purpose of this award is to recognize a Brilliant Mother, Grand Mother, Foster Mother and Carer who exhibits tenacity and commitment in the raising of children. The award will serve as recognition of outstanding contribution and commitment to the next generation.


Demonstration of excellence in practice, directly or indirectly resulting in improved relationships with children. Anyone who wishes to be considered for the award should complete the form briefly addressing the following:

Against all Odds: Evidence of how they have raised children against all odds
Sacrifice: Demonstrates sacrifices they have had to make to raise children
Going the extra mile: Demonstrates the length they have gone to in raising children over and above what is expected
Bravery: Demonstrates that despite a difficult situation they have stayed the course and raised children in a dangerous situation


A relation, work colleague or child can nominate a mother, grandmother, foster mother or carer. Any London based mother, grandmother, foster mother or carer is eligible for this award. Brilliant Parents staff are not eligible for the award. Only individuals are able to receive this award, families or group nominations will not be considered. Those nominated must be able to attend the Brilliant Parent’s Post-Mother’s Day award on Saturday, 6th April 2019 to receive their award and will receive two free tickets to attend the event with the person who nominated you.


The recipients of these awards shall receive a specially designed trophy, flowers and recognition at the Brilliant Parents Post-Mother’s Day event on April 6th 2019.


All nominations must be fully completed and submitted to Brilliant Parents by the nomination deadline in order for the nominee to be considered as a candidate for the award.
