Parenting Course Facilitator
The role of the Parenting Course Facilitator is intrinsic in the work of the Brilliant Parents service provision. You will be an experienced Triple P Accredited facilitator with a passion for parents and a commitment to wanting to improve the competence and confidence of our service users parenting skills.
This role will involve recruiting, training and supervising volunteers, to manage the bank of Parent champions. Ideally, you will also be familiar with the Triple P Parenting programme and its key principles.
As well as motivating the team, you will have experience of facilitating parenting support groups and transferring those skills to online events for the Parent champions and fifty parents.
The successful candidate will have proven experience of facilitating parenting groups or supporting parents. You will also have experience of coordinating, recruiting, training and managing volunteers. We are looking for individuals with the ability to work effectively in partnership with external organisations, parents and volunteers. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also required. This role will involve recruiting, training and supervising volunteers, as well as facilitating parenting groups. The post holder will also work closely with the Parent Champions and the CEO to implement a small number of events for the benefit of fifty parents.

Volunteer Parent/Carer Champion
As a Parent/Carer Champion Volunteer, your role will be to befriend and act as a non-judgemental ally for four families who need support. By listening and passing on key positive parenting principles you will build a healthy relationship with these individual families, who will over time feel increasingly empowered, confident and competent in their parenting skills.
